About Us

Eric C. Andrus, a Principal at Robinson Lerer & Montgomery, provides communications, crisis management, public affairs, and investor relations counsel to a variety of media, consumer, finance, insurance, real estate, technology, and professional services clients.   He has been with the firm since 1998.

Mr. Andrus was previously at the U.S. Department of Justice as Director of Communications for the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS).  In this position, he oversaw the agency’s external and internal communications programs and provided strategic counsel to the executive staff of the INS.

In addition to serving as Director of Communications for the successful 1994 Glendening gubernatorial campaign in Maryland, Mr. Andrus held media strategist and spokesperson positions with several presidential, congressional, and state-wide political campaigns.

Mr. Andrus began his career in New York, working in a number of communications-related positions, including Director of the U.S. Information Agency’s New York Foreign Press Center and Account Executive for Geto & de Milly, Inc.

A resident of Manhattan, Mr. Andrus graduated cum laude from Emerson College with a B.S. degree in Mass Communications.
