Jim Badenhausen is a Partner with Robinson Lerer & Montgomery and has been a member of the Firm since 1997. 

He has extensive experience working with clients, including Fortune 500 companies and private firms, on long-term positioning programs as well as high-profile crises, corporate restructurings, financial transactions, executive transitions, sensitive legal and regulatory matters, and other special situations.  Mr. Badenhausen’s experience extends across a range of industries, with particular expertise in the financial services sector, where he has represented several global investment banks, among other firms.  He also has worked with clients in the technology, media, entertainment, energy, health care, and non-profit sectors.

Previously, from 1991 to 1996, Mr. Badenhausen served as a senior communications and policy advisor to California Governor Pete Wilson and was the Governor’s chief speechwriter.  He also has worked on national, state and local political campaigns; served as a speechwriter to a cabinet member in the George H.W. Bush administration; and worked in the Communications Division of the Republican National Committee.

Mr. Badenhausen holds a B.A. degree from Dartmouth College (1987).  He lives in Glen Ridge, NJ with his wife and three children.
