Corporate philanthropy and cause-related marketing programs can enhance the image and reputation of a company with its key audiences, and lend significant support to its fulfillment of business strategy and goals.

RLM serves a broad range of companies and not-for-profit organizations, including foundations, to develop and execute strategic plans for corporate philanthropy and cause-related marketing initiatives.  Our focus is always on programs that will strengthen and deepen the relationships between clients and their key audiences.

We work closely with our clients to develop, announce, and promote philanthropic programs, and to gain “buy-in” for those efforts.  We also create and implement major philanthropic events and launches; identify cause-related partners for companies and organizations; design initiatives to engage employees; and undertake local, regional, and national grassroots community relations efforts.

Corporate philanthropy and cause-related marketing initiatives we have undertaken include:

  • Development of a comprehensive corporate giving and philanthropic program – including an Internet-based philanthropy initiative and an employee volunteer plan – for a leading international media company
  • Support for corporate philanthropy and community initiatives following the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center
  • Coordination of major philanthropic events for several cable-television networks, as well as launches of programs with philanthropy components
  • Creation of a multi-faceted communications program to leverage a leading pharmaceutical company’s philanthropic initiatives
  • Development of a targeted media plan for a major philanthropic event sponsored by a Presidential library
